This is true that any unfamiliar situation can be anxiety provoking and frightening, or in some situation right down devastating. In many cases this can be an underlying issue to person difficulty adjusting to the new situation. Work Related
In this case, person feels stressed out and exhausted behind normal circumstances, dared going to work, irritability, and difficulty in sleeping, eating, relationship. Treatment consists of extensive assessment and history taking for more accurate diagnostic impression. Further client learn stress management, social skills, communication skills, and assertive skills in order to take care of emotional and personal needs and grow personally stronger in business and interpersonal life.
School Related
In most cases children lack appropriate social skills and communication skills in order to assert themselves in situation outside of the home. In some cases, underlying depression in children presents itself as a sign and symptoms of irritability and fear or avoidance of new situation and places such as school. In therapy, children learn social and coping skills; self esteem building and communication skills for asserting themselves effectively. In addition to above mentioned therapeutic techniques play-therapy help the child learn to read others as well as their own emotion instead of being afraid of new emotion and feelings in different situation.
Grieving Related
Adjusting to the lost of the love one can be devastating, affect daily life and relationships for people who are left behind. In some cases, it can lead to development of depressive mood or anxiety that cause dysfunction in daily life. Throughout the treatment individual learn coping ability and skills to deal with this ordeal and move on forward in life.
