Eating Disorder
Although eating disorder (Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa) present itself with a disturbance in perception of body shape and weight, in most cases the underlying issue of mood disorder and depression remain the same. Many youth (mostly female) with eating disorder suffer from depressive symptoms, social withdrawal, irritability, sleeping difficulties, and personality problem. Majority of time, untreated eating disorders lead to disaster and death. Treatment consists of comprehensive assessment, stress and anger management, social skills and self-esteem building, improve coping ability, educational therapy, group therapy, and improving parenting skills.
