Fees for Services

Fees for Individual and Family Therapy

Our Standard Fee is $125.00 per session for individual child/youth or family session. An individual therapy session last 45-50 minutes (time begins at the agreed upon appointment time). Fees are due in full when services are rendered. For your convenience, you may pay by check, cash, or credit card. MasterCard, Visa, and American Express are currently accepted.

Don’t forget, the first consultation session (30 minutes) face-to-face or on the phone is always free. Please call to discuss further questions about my fees, as my rates have some flexibility based on my clients' circumstances. If you are not able to afford my rate, I will do my best to help you find appropriate referrals. The good news is that we offer a list of opening for service based on sliding scale fee for those who cannot afford the standard fee.

In addition, OCFC is able to offer a list of openings for pro-bono services. We are very thankful for and salute our supporters, all of whom make it possible for OCFC to humbly serve the community (especially the children/youth and family) during their times of need and allow OCFC to provide pro-bono services. In order for clients to receive a pro-bono benefit the family must be in crisis (as determined by lead therapist Sodabeh Miller) and need short-term therapy (3-5 sessions). Furthermore, the client is able to establish further resources after designated sessions such as being able to agree to the sliding skills fee (further 9 more sessions); or, agree to our standard fee $125.00 per session; or, establish another source of therapy.

Insurance

Although payment for services is ultimately the responsibility of the client, we do offer help in communicating better with a client's insurance provider. The staff at OCFC have worked diligently as a team in order to be included on numerous insurance companies network provider lists. In addition, as an out of Network Provider on all PPO plans, OCFC can provide you with a monthly invoice to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy

A 24-hour advance notice is required for canceled sessions. The fee for missed sessions or sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice is $125.

Fees for Group Therapy

Group therapy consists of eight consecutive sessions (weekly sessions), each session last 90 minute with a 10 minute break in between. Remember that first group therapy sessions are free. The standard fee for one group therapy session is $30 and with the purchase of two eight group therapy sessions the standard fee is reduced to $20 per group therapy session.
