I am a licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 20 years experience helping adults, children, couples and families, live their lives more vibrantly and creatively. I consider it a privilege to be part of my client’s growth and success. It brings me joy to help others and have their lives become happier and more fulfilled.
My approach is very compassionate, empathetic, and solution focused. I integrate different models into psychotherapy such as cognitive behavioral to tailor fit each individuals, couples, and family’s needs. I also help my clients learn communication skills by combining a caring attitude and caring behavior and collaborative approach. This helps build self esteem, self confidence and more successful, loving, and happier relationships.
I earned my my Masters Degree in Marriage Family Therapy from Hope University in Fullerton and my Bachelors Degree in psychology from Cal State Fullerton. I have a private practice in Mission Viejo, California. I have also done counseling for the Saddleback School District.
I also co-founded ASPN, an American Single Parents Network from 1992 to 2000. I organized fun events for parents and children to help rebuild their lives and to meet others in the same situation.
I was born and raised in southern California and I am married with two children. Besides my passion for helping others, I also have a love for animals and charity work.
